how to set up your drum kitThe traditional drum kit consists of a mix of drums. A snare drum is mounted on a stand and placed between the player’s knees. A bass drum is played by a pedal with the right foot. One or two tom drums are mounted above the bass drum. A floor-mounted tom drum on the player’s right-hand side. A hi-hat is operated by the left foot and one or more cymbals, usual a crash cymbal on the left-hand side near the hi-hat and a ride cymbal on the right-hand side above the floor tom.
