The Black Cats formed for one reason only:

The blues demanded it.

They are a four-piece blues outfit made up of John, Ron, Alan, and Neil — four musicians with different backgrounds, different temperaments, and different strengths. What binds them is the groove. The Black Cats cut their teeth in pubs, backstreet bars, backyard sheds, and anywhere that welcomed loud amps and louder stories. What emerged was a sound deeper than their individual talents: raw, unpolished, and unmistakably theirs.

This is their story — the story of a band that follows the blues wherever it leads.

The blues doesn’t call you politely.
It doesn’t knock on the door and wait.
It blows the door clean off its hinges, marches inside, helps itself to your beer, and demands you listen.
